My name is Casey. I may be small, but when it comes to the kitchen, I have big ideas! It’s my goal to serve dishes that are natural, balanced, almost totally homemade, and, of course, delicious.
I never thought that I would really ever find an interest in cooking. That all changed when I made the switch from dorm-living to an apartment with my friends. I began to challenge myself with preparing my own food and was inspired by the passion my roommates had for food.
Trust me, I have my flops. There was the seared salmon steak that set off all the fire alarms, the shoo-fly pie, and, of course, the infamous dutch baby. BUT – practice makes perfect, and I’m on a mission to build an arsenal of recipes that I can count on for my family in the future. Getting stuck in a food rut is not an option for me!
